This juice is amazing!! At first, I thought it looked green and that it might taste bad, but was I wrong!! It is so yummy and healthy! It has a blend of kiwi, apples, pineapple, many green and delicious fruits!! It also has a kick of other ingredients that aren’t in our daily diet, but are necessary for healthy functioning of our bodies.

 Spirulina, chollera, broccoli, garlic, blue green algae, barley grass the list goes on.

I would love to post the importance of each of these items, because we americans seriously lack vitamins and minerals in our diets. One cup is a serving, so this big bottle comes with a couple days worth of yumminess. It is made by Boathouse farms, which is just as good as the same type of thing made by Naked Juices. There is also a million other flavors, with different types of fruit and combos. This green one is definetly the most power packed with minerals. I bought it at my local Stater Bros Grocery Store, and should be available any where near you. =]

I have officially stopped drinking soda!! For many reasons, but the most important is the overload of sugar and the ability it has to slow me down. I was always tired around 2 pm and still have four hours left to work. Once I stopped my body felt a change, first bad then very good. The first couple days I felt like I had a constant headache and I wanted to sleep all day. Once I got over the hump I immediatly felt lighter and quicker at my day to day activites. It has only been a week and a half, so I cannot say much, but I do know that there are healthier alternatives, and will be sharing them for all.


My first secondary choice was Green Tea, not Black tea, green. Green has powerful antioxidants that help relieve stress, and it even has a trivial amount of caffeine in it. I really enjoy it, because I can drink it hot in the morning and cold in the afternoon. No more coffee for me!! =] I found this excerpt from wiki, and I wanted to share.

I officially would love to never drink soda or coffee again, but i know it is hard. But certaintly green tea is much healthier!!


Make your Beef Healthier. May 16, 2011

I would say that alot of Americans love hamburgers or tacos. Yes while they are delicious, it is said that they are not the healthiest meats out there for you. I have used a secret passed down from my grandmother for as long as I know. The secret is to put either fresh rosemary leaves or rosemary oil in your ground beef when cooking it. The rosemary herb has special components that take out all the unhealthy  toxins in your beef, and extract it into the oil. Try it, rosemary that is fresher works the best.  You can get rosemary at your local super market i the veggies section.

Rosemary oil is simple to make, put a whole leave brach into a jar of extra virgin olive oil ( however big you wish) and let it sit in there in a room temp place for about a week. There you go! Simple and homemade rosemary oil! (Even if the oil still smells like olive oil, its ok its infused with rosemary.)


Oh Earth Day. 10 ways to help the earth. April 21, 2011

Here are some ideas for tomorrow, some are simple, some are complicated. I made a list of my top ten favorites!

1.)Plant a Tree- Anywhere, at home, a street, anywhere it seems fit.

2.)Use organic only products all day-anything from cleaning to cooking, maybe don’t eat take out for the day.

3.)Clean a river, lake, stream, highway, field, desert or trash. This is easiest wherever is closest to you.

.4)Create a drawing contest or coloring contest for the community.

5.)Create an eco-thon. Like a race, but where the proceeds go to a charity.

6.)Give Enivronmental Hero awards tothe people doing the most in your city.

7.)Hold a concert. Its easy to book bands these days of craigslist.

8.)Ask your grocery store manager for 500 paper bags. Have kids at a school marker them with an earth. On Earth Day have the grocers pass them out instead of plain ones.

9.)Create an Earth Day Mural. Really nice because art in a community is important.

10.)Write a Earth Day Article. =)

 And other important memory enhancing ideas!

 note: All foods listed here are healthier for you uncooked because when you cook them, the vitamins and nutrients cook away. Best to eat these foods raw. Enjoy!

They are fatty acids, which are actually healthy for the body to comsume. You can get this from fish, like salmon, tuna, halibut, mackarel, sardines, and herring. Fish will also lower your risk for alzheimers diesease. They have fish oil pills which snell or taste nothing like fish. Don’t like fish? Other sources of omega-3’s are flazseed, flaxseed oil, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and soybeans.

Dark leafy greens.

Veggies like Broccoli, spinach, romaine lettuce, arugula, asparagus contain antioxidents that improve memory drastically. Making them into a salad is realtively easy.


Blueberries are the leading fruit to improve your memory. These small berries pack a powerful punch of antioxident power that stimulates the brian cells and repairs the damaged ones.


This fruit is dark red in color and is great used in a juicer. It is a powerful fruit that is often taken for granted. One cup of promegrante juice daily will decrease alzheimers, dementia, improve cell function and keep the brain healthy.

Orange fruits.

Fruits such as mangos, apricots, cantoloupe, and watermelon (I know it’s red) can also improve the areas of the brain relating to memory. They are superfoods that are rich in antioxidants and are vital to keep the cells working healthy and multiplying.

Red Wine.

Used in moderation ( NO more then 1 glass a day for women and 2 for men a day). Red wine is made from red grapes which have the vitamin reservatrol. This vitamin is the best known blood flow increaser. More blood flow to your brain means more brain power and longer thinking capabilities. Other reservatrol options are grape juice, cranberry juice, fresh grapes, berries and peanuts.


Other vital ways to improve memory.

Excercise the brain.

Regular excercise helps the oxygen flow to the brain and helps slow disorders that increase memory loss like diabetes, and cardiovascular (heart) dieseases. This enhances the brains chemicals and protects those precious brain cells.


Going to sleep at a good time every night for a reasonable amount of hours is what the brain needs to recharge. Sleep deprivation is difficult to function under, and it can cause a whole load of health problems.

Interact with others.

Its important to have good relationships with the people in your life. Activites like going to the movies or dinner with friends or family, can help your brain feel at ease and excercise healthy. Pick up a hobby that you love, and practice it regularly for optimum brain power. Even pets can be a good way to improve your memory, having responsibilites that you enjoy, and interacting with the outside world.


This one is vital for your brain to stay happy. Your body feels better after laughing, and surprisingly enough, many adults go the whole day with out smiling or laughing once. It can enhance the serotonin in your brain to help improve the brain cells power. Anyone who is happier will live longer. Learn to laugh at yourself, and small stressful situations, laugh and talk to your children often, after all its a start.

Stress has to stay low.

I know it’s hard, when your always working. Stress can get the best of you. Stress accounts for many dieseases and health problems. Everytime you feel the stress start to rise, Slow down take a deep breath, and think of the most positive part of the situation. Practice mediation and do something that relaxes you like music, or a bath.

The amazing uses of Tea Tree Oil March 22, 2011

So for about a month I experienced this weird bump right behind my ear. It was not a pimple, it was bigger and it didn’t hurt, but it was there, and growing pretty fast. I was really worried that it could be a tumor, because my uncle had once had a brain tumor. So I, of course went to google for some answers. I found this oil called tea tree oil. It is made in Australia from the Tea Tree. I found a local organic shop in town that sold it. I got mine for about $8.00. It took about 3 days and the bump started getting smaller. It retracted faster than it had grown! So it only took a couple drops on my finger to solve my problem. A couple weeks later, my friend had been bitten by a spider, not a poisonous one, but the bump was about the size of a quarter. He only put it one his arm one time, and it healed the spider bite completely, within that night. Very randomnly my sister was telling me about her acne on her back. She had looked up some natural cures, and tea tree oil was in the recipe. She mixed apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil into a small jar and has been using that. She is saving herself alot of money by not buying her doctors prescrition acne treatment, Differin. So that is just three ways I myself have expreienced this natural cure. The bottle can last you forever, because it is so potent you only need a couple drops. The smell is very discintive, and it warns you on the bottle, not to put it on your face driectly. mix it with about a tablespoon of water and you will be safe to put it on your face. This is a great money saver and very healthy, compared to creams and washes. Tea tree oil is an antiseptic, and the uses are endless.
